We have meticulous standards when it comes to hiring professional caregivers. Many of our caregivers are immigrants and arrive in our community with significant caregiving expertise. Others have enrolled in our local educational institutions and have completed six to twelve month courses to earn the privilege of calling themselves professional caregivers. Many of our caregivers have earned advanced medical degrees in their countries of origin and these professionals make extraordinary caregivers!
Always There For You has an ongoing program to find and retain the best caregivers within our community. We ensure that our caregivers have the necessary eduction, experience and attitudes to deliver our high standard of care. All caregivers must pass a criminal check and must also complete our own in house training programs before they are sent into your home.
At our initial assessment meeting with you, we identify your specific traits that have an important influence on selecting your health care team.
Our caregivers can help you with your personal needs, such as bathing, grooming, toilette and dressing. This is especially helpful if you have arthritis, or have difficulty with body movements. We can also help with medication reminders and feeding.
Some conditions require special nursing care. Our nurses can help you with ostomy care, wound care, and foot care. They can also help administer injectable medications.
We provide emotional support for clients and their families.Some situations where we can help include stay-in companionship for high risk client conditions (Alzheimer's disease, Dementia, depression, etc.) We can also help clients get out of their shell with activities ranging from: engaging in mild exercise such as accompanying the client walking in the park; reading to clients who have difficulty with small print; giving the clients an attentive listener for them to share their life stories and experiences.
Husbands, wives and children who take care of loved ones may sometimes need a break. Many of us underestimate the demands of being a personal caregiver to a beloved member of the family. We provide respite care workers who understand your needs and are competent to perform them while you take your well deserved rest. This enables you to return refreshed and re-energized to give the care that your loved ones deserve.
Always There for You understands the need for a loved one's last days to be both carefully managed and also enjoyable to the greatest extent possible. We provide specialized nursing services to the terminally ill and their families including emotional support, case management, and liaison with government programs. Services are available for twenty-four hour care or any portion thereof. We will coordinate and supply medical equipment as needed.
We can also help with your other daily needs: from meal planning to grocery shopping to food preparation to cooking and serving, all the way to dishwashing. Many maintenance chores are beyond the ability of our senior clients who wish to remain in thier homes. We have selected some of the best maintenance repair, gardeners, electricians and painters who can help maintain your residence in the shape that you wish.
