Meet our Sponsored Children

indianchild copyExcerpt from a letter we received from SOS Bangalore, India:

Vinodini was born December 16th, 2003. She is a healthy girl who has been living at at Bangalore's SOS Children's Village since 2007. She was admitted with her brother, has bonded well with her SOS mother and is very popular with her peers. She is particularly fond of singing and dancing; she also loves drawing colourful pictures of children, animals and houses. The girl never misses the bedtime story her SOS mother reads at night, as it helps her settle down from the excitement of the day. Vinodini is clearly happy in her SOS family and enjoys having many brothers and sisters.

Excerpt from letter we received from SOS Santa Tecla, El Salvador:

Guadalupe was admitted to the SOS Children's Village Santa Tecla together with her sister Johana in 2007. She immediately settled down nicely in her new home and she is attached to her SOS mother. Guadalupe also gets along very well with her friends to play football or basketball together. At home she likes dresses in this colour. Guadalupe is a very kind-hearted and caring girl and she says that she wants to become a nurse to be able to help people. At school she is progressing well. She is attentive in class and she does her homework with great care.

In March 2010, Patricia Cruz went to visit her and spent a day with her. They still keep in touch. Here they are pictured together.

dsc_0749 We are trying out a new incentive program for our employees. You are all important members of our team here at Always There For you and as such, we want to present this opportunity to you. We will give each of your 10-15 Always There For You business cards in which you will write your names on the back. You will then give out these cards to seniors that you come across. Tell them your name and a bit about our company. If these same people give our office a call and mention your name, you will recieve an incentive. For each person that your refer to us and call us, you will recieve an incentive and these will be accumulated and rewarded to you on your next cheque. For more details talk to Joanne or Patricia in the office!

group imageThis year we celebrated our professional caregivers at the 2011 Office Thanksgiving Party.  A strong thank you to everyone that came and made our party so much fun and who continue to work so tirelessly for our home clients.  We are enormously proud of our health support teams, we think you are the best!   Apologies to all who had to leave early and missed getting their photos taken.  Hopefully we can make amends next time!  Click here to see other shots from the party.

Some Angels in Historic Steveston "A group of employees showed up on a recent overcast Saturday morning at our offices in the historic fishing village of Steveston.  We needed some group photos so we headed out into the streets looking for some location shooting.  As you can see, we got some interesting shots.   Click here to see several other shots from the photo shoot.
